AUSTRIAN CRYSTAL PEARLS

Synthetic pearls are usually either coated plastic, glass, crystal beads, or crushed shell. They generally are visually perfect with very little to no variation in shape, size, luster or color/overtone.

There is a great level of variabilty in how thick the coating is and how durable it is, across materials and brands.

Austrian Crystal Pearls have some of the thickest coatings and most durability.    They have a weightiness to them that makes them feel like real pearls.   They have a consistent size and drill-positioned hole.    

But keep these pearls away from any kind of bleach.

NOTE:   Austrian Crystal Pearls sell faster than the manufacturer makes them.   This results in frequent shortages of certain colors and sizes.
Plan accordingly.    Think about substitutes.
