Czech size #5 bugles are 11.0mm (0.433 inches) long and 2.7mm in diameter.     While there is a lot of variation in how hanks get tied up, in general, there will be 12 strings (but sometimes less) approximately 20" each.     NOTE: The size labels on Czech bugles are different that those on Japanese bugles.   Also, Czech bugles (2.7mm) are thicker in diameter than almost all Japanese bugles (most are 2mm).
